Editor's Note:

Driftlines are where all sorts of interesting things accumulate along the edge of currents.  In the open sea this might include pumice stones from a volcano, Saragassum weed, a coconut, a plastic thong sheltering a school of baby sergeant majors or a log supporting a whole drifting community.  Juveniles of various pelagic and reef fishes huddle together with permanent members of the drift community.  They gather on and around anything offering a bit of shelter and pelagic predators cruise the line looking for strays.

This section is the place for all sorts of interesting short items. This might include text, still images or video clips, even a voice clip, whatever turns up that is interesting.   If you have something, please get in touch.
